This wall hanging from Village Fabrics features four panels inspired by how beautifully the Japanese wrap gifts. There are noshi (stylised bows), a treasure bag, a scroll and a stylised flower.
The rich creams, blues and silver make an unusual but elegant colour statement which is further enhanced by silver machine appliqué and intricate sashiko textured backgrounds.
The kit includes all fabrics to make the top including the binding as well as embroidery threads for the sashiko and the printed pattern which includes comprehensive instructions and diagrams.
