Tim Holtz Idea-ology Charcoal Palette Papers — 8 × 8 inches
Worn black, smoky grey and aged neutral tones give the Charcoal Palette Collection a strong monochrome feel. Typography, grids and collage details create a useful foundation for vintage cards and journals. This pack contains 12 double-sided sheets, each 8 × 8 inches.
Inside the Charcoal palette
The papers range from pale parchment-grey to deep charcoal, with weathered printed detail throughout. This light-to-dark contrast works well for framing photographs, layering labels and adding a single coloured focal point.
Working with the 8 × 8-inch format
The 8 × 8-inch sheets are convenient for smaller scrapbook pages, card panels and journal inserts. Trim or tear sections for tags, pockets and layered detail, choosing which printed side works best for each piece.
A layering idea
Place a pale printed panel over a darker background, then introduce a small red, blue or green embellishment for contrast.
