Cadence Very Chalky Home Decor Paint — Taffy 150ml
Cadence Very Chalky Taffy CH-05 offers a warm, soft-looking neutral for home décor. This 150ml water-based acrylic dries to an ultra-matt, velvety finish and can be distressed for vintage-style decorative effects.
Taffy in your colour scheme
Taffy works as a gentle backdrop for decorative transfers and stencilled details. Try it alongside darker trim to bring definition to a painted box or frame.
Build the finish in layers
Work on a clean, dry surface and use the paint without added water. Cadence prefers 6–12 hours between coats, depending on conditions, and recommends sanding between layers to develop the characteristic finish. Always test the technique on a sample first.
Protect the finished piece
Choose a compatible velvet-matt varnish or wax to finish the paintwork. For very glossy ceramics, plastic or metal, follow Cadence’s primer guidance before painting.
