Cadence Very Chalky Home Decor Paint — Oxide Yellow 150ml
Cadence Very Chalky Oxide Yellow CH-27 offers a warm yellow accent with a velvety matt finish. This 150ml water-based acrylic dries to an ultra-matt, velvety finish and can be distressed for vintage-style decorative effects.
Oxide Yellow in your colour scheme
Oxide Yellow can brighten a small decorative object or add warm detail to a layered painted surface. Distressed edges help break up the colour for a more aged appearance.
Build the finish in layers
Work on a clean, dry surface and use the paint without added water. Cadence prefers 6–12 hours between coats, depending on conditions, and recommends sanding between layers to develop the characteristic finish. Always test the technique on a sample first.
Protect the finished piece
Choose a compatible velvet-matt varnish or wax to finish the paintwork. For very glossy ceramics, plastic or metal, follow Cadence’s primer guidance before painting.
