Black for your next project
Use black to frame bright artwork, define edges or create a dark foundation for contrasting decorative details. The creamy paint can also be mixed with other Hybrid colours to develop your own palette.
Prepare for the material you are painting
Cadence lists wood, paper, glass, ceramic, metal, plastic and fabric among its suitable surfaces. Preparation still matters: the manufacturer recommends the appropriate primer for very glossy ceramics, plastics and metal.
Allow time between coats
Use the paint without adding water as directed by Cadence. Its guidance allows around 6–12 hours between coats on decorative work and 24 hours for furniture, depending on conditions. Finish with a compatible water-based varnish where required for the project.

Application and care
Work on a clean, dry surface free of grease and dust. Test a small area first and follow the bottle instructions for your material. Keep the container closed between uses and clean tools before paint dries.
