Cadence Createx Rust Activator — 150ml
Develop a real oxidised finish with Cadence Createx Rust Activator 150ml. This acidic, water-based solution reacts with the metal particles in the separately supplied Createx Natural Rust Effect Paint to speed up the formation of rust.
Use with the matching Createx paint
Prepare and coat the object with Createx Natural Rust Effect Paint, then apply the activator following the product instructions. The activator is a companion product rather than a brown decorative paint.
Let the reaction develop naturally
Cadence’s technique guide describes effects becoming visible after around 2–3 hours, with approximately 24 hours for the fuller result. The appearance varies with the surface, amount applied and conditions.
Plan a sample before the finished piece
Test the complete Createx sequence on a small prepared area first. Rust powder can be used as part of the manufacturer’s textured technique; paint and powder are separate from this activator.
