Cadence Beton Effect Relief Paste — 250ml
Create a concrete-style decorative surface with Cadence Beton Effect Relief Paste 250ml. This water-based paste adds a matt, textured finish to prepared craft objects and panels, with room to vary the effect through the way you apply it.
Choose smooth or textured areas
Spread a thin layer with a spatula, dab with a suitable brush or use a stencil for a raised motif. Once dry, the surface can be smoothed and sanded where the design calls for a more even concrete appearance.
Build shade and depth
A second layer can increase depth. Cadence’s compatible Top Coat Glazes can add tonal variation to the finished concrete effect; these are separate products. Test the complete combination on a sample first.
Let the texture dry naturally
Cadence gives a typical drying time of 3–6 hours, depending on conditions and layer thickness. The manufacturer advises against varnishing this effect.
