Tim Holtz Idea-ology Charcoal Palette Papers — 12 × 12 inches
Worn black, smoky grey and aged neutral tones give the Charcoal Palette Collection a strong monochrome feel. Typography, grids and collage details create a useful foundation for vintage cards and journals. This pack contains 12 double-sided sheets, each 12 × 12 inches.
Inside the Charcoal palette
The papers range from pale parchment-grey to deep charcoal, with weathered printed detail throughout. This light-to-dark contrast works well for framing photographs, layering labels and adding a single coloured focal point.
Working with the 12 × 12-inch format
The 12 × 12-inch sheets provide a full-size scrapbook background or room to cut several smaller panels. Use whole sheets for layouts, or trim them for cards, journal pages, pockets and decorative layers.
A layering idea
Place a pale printed panel over a darker background, then introduce a small red, blue or green embellishment for contrast.
