Cadence Connoisseur Extra Heavy Gel — Gloss 250ml
Give acrylic colour more body with Cadence Connoisseur Extra Heavy Gel Gloss 250ml. This colourless acrylic polymer medium has an extra-thick consistency designed to retain peaks and tool marks, making it useful for textured painting and dimensional surfaces.
Gloss finish with retained texture
Use Gloss when you want raised paintwork with a more reflective finish that catches the light across peaks and ridges. Mix a small amount with acrylic colour and adjust gradually to explore the relationship between colour, transparency and body.
Shape marks with your painting tools
The thick gel helps preserve the marks left by a palette knife or brush. Use it where you want a raised ridge, a deliberate stroke or a built surface rather than a flat painted area.
Test your paint-and-medium mix
Cadence describes this medium as suitable for extending paint and changing its finish. Make a sample with your chosen paint and let it dry fully before deciding how much medium to add to the main project.
